The SSI Scuba Diver course provides the training and experience needed to dive safely in open water under the supervision of a dive professional.

This beginner-level course can be completed in one or two days.
With the SSI Scuba Diver certification, you’ll be able to dive with a professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters.
You can upgrade to the Open Water Diver course at any time in the future.

Health and Safety Requirements

• To participate in scuba diving, you must be in good physical health. A valid diving medical certificate is required.
• For safety reasons, you must not fly for at least 24 hours after diving. This guideline is in place to reduce the risk of decompression-related injuries associated with flying after scuba diving.
